From Autopilot To Authorship
An invitation to practice this year — together
Have you already noticed what being in “autopilot” feels like?
You sense that you could live and work more deliberately, but it’s not obvious how to start.
You don’t want to get stuck.
You want to explore what your potential actually looks like.
When people reach this point, they usually take one of two paths:
One is to look for systems: books, methods, training programs, templates created by people who already “figured it out.” I’ve used many of them. They can be useful. But they often require a lot of discipline, constant adaptation, and the effort of fitting yourself into someone else’s model. At some point, I started wondering if there was a different way.
The other path, the one I’ve tested in real life for more than ten years, is about learning to author your own strategy for change, supported by others who are doing the same. Because your context matters.
That’s what Lincoln Island is. Not a prescriptive system, but a community with a guiding structure. A shared space that helps you move from autopilot toward conscious, deliberate participation in your own life.
Here, beliefs can be questioned safely. Assumptions are challenged. You remain independent — but not alone.
Lincoln Island revolves around six elements or processes:
Purpose,
Fearlessness,
Community,
Influence and impact,
Adventure and exploration, and
Tools and technology.
If you imagine developing awareness and practice across these six elements, it’s easy to see how this creates the conditions for a higher quality of life — without following someone else’s template.
If this resonates, you’re invited to join.
Lincoln Island is new in the digital space, but it’s built on more than a decade of real-world community building, facilitation, and lived experience. I’ll be there to host the space, keep the rhythm, and support accountability, always at your own pace.
You don’t need to postpone your growth. This can be the moment you recognize yourself as the author of the path you’re already walking.
I hope you like the surprise :)
All paying members will soon have access to conversations with practitioners across the six elements, community calls, and the full training program — included at no extra cost.

Wishing you a great start to the year,
Jose.

Like working in flow state ?
You're right! There's always that awkward moment where you realize you're spending more energy adapting to the system than actually growing.
