Lincoln Island Activated
Early Results Are In
Hey everyone,
First of all, thank you for the warm response to the launch of Lincoln Island and the premium subscription. It really means a lot to see how many of you get what we’re building here.
Andrew gave me a helpful piece of feedback:
“Just call Lincoln Island what it actually is — a mastermind.”
I checked with Domen (also a premium member), and he said:
“Yes. 100%.”
So let’s go with it:
Lincoln Island is a mastermind for freedom-driven people who want to grow, break their self-limitations, and do it with others, not alone.

Anonymous Question of the Week
Someone sent an incredibly honest and powerful question about choosing between getting a job or starting a business — and the invisible fears behind that decision.
I’ve opened the full response to all subscribers in the chat so you can read it, reflect, and add your thoughts.

This week's question
“What can you do to feel more connected, more seen?” The original post is here.
We received 4 answers. Can we say that four people made a good decision? :) I think they did! Here they are:

Friday Reflection
This week revealed something many of us already feel — even if we don’t say it out loud:
We’re aware of our growing disconnection from others, yet we keep rushing.
We try to do more, prepare for every possible outcome, and build “backup lives” in case plan A collapses. We sacrifice friendships, joy, and presence, believing that later everything will return as a good investment.
But eventually the body speaks: anxiety, burnout, numbness, confusion.
If we’re lucky, we start with the simplest step — we reconnect.
We sit with people again, without an agenda. We remember that being together is not a distraction from life — it’s part of what makes life great.
See you next week,
Jose
Testimonials
I would like to share some of the recent feedback I get from people interacting with me through Lincoln Island (Paid version of this publication), and some live one-to-one sessions.

For me, the quickest way to feel more connected is to initiate something small — a message, a voice note, even a handwritten card. Being seen often starts with seeing others first.
I’ve noticed this especially with professionals navigating transitions. In my work, even one intentional check-in often shifts how someone feels about their network.
According to Harvard’s latest social wellness study, people who proactively reach out just once a week report a 36% increase in perceived connection.
Do you think connection is more about frequency or intention?
Real growth always starts with honesty and community, not isolation.
