I Found Love in an Unexpected Place
I'm sure you'll find it too.
Let’s start the week by clearing a bit of the fog. This post is a hopeful meditation, an invitation to stay grounded and loving, as the week begins.
Lately, I’ve been sensing how much our civilization is changing.
There is so much suffering, violence, hypocrisy, and fear. It’s hard not to be affected by it.
Finding a job is hard. Making a business flourish is hard. Genuine cooperation feels rare. Even doing the “right thing” doesn’t seem to stick when so many of us are distracted trying to keep walking.
But today, something shifted for me. Behind all this fog, I noticed something else.
Love.
There is love in looking away from the news so we can keep providing.
There is love in choosing not to watch, so we can still sit down and have a good conversation with friends.
There is love even in the frustration we feel when we see violence—because that frustration comes from knowing things could be different.
What often looks like indifference is, at times, a way of protecting what still matters.
I really hope we can find some peace of mind.
I pray for all of us to have moments of real rest, rest without anxiety, so we can continue, without losing ourselves along the way.
Dear friends, wherever you are, and whatever this moment looks like for you,
I hope you can feel that love is present within you.
Yours,
Jose

Beautifully said. This pulled me out of my typical left-brain mode and got me thinking about where I'm actually headed. Good reminder that not everything worth finding shows up in a roadmap or a five-year plan.
Even amid chaos, love shows up in small, quiet choices, self-care, presence, and protection of what truly matters.
