One Thing We Often Forget When Facing a Challenge
Feeling stuck can be a riddle you can't resolve alone
What do you do when fear becomes obvious and you’ve already exhausted your options?
You’ve tried to face it, see it, feel it, trace it to its root, but nothing changes. You still feel stuck, locked in place, and uninspired to take action.
Often, circumstances cloud our perspective so much that we can’t see alternatives or solutions. In those moments, being part of a community can help—others can clear the fog and offer clarity. If you’re fortunate enough to belong to a group that truly sees you, that’s a great place to start.
But what about the friends you haven’t spoken to in a while?
As some of you know, I’ve been traveling for a while now. I was in Peru for a couple of weeks, and now I’m in France visiting a friend. I also reconnected with friends from my youth, and it’s amazing how well they still know me.
Good old friends can bring something no one else can. Not even family.
They’ve seen you in different stages of life. They’ve shared unforgettable moments with you. Their presence isn’t just about trust—it’s a living memory of who you were, who you are, and who you’ve always been.
It’s surprisingly easy for friends to remind you of parts of your personality you’ve forgotten. They can bring clarity naturally, without effort.
And the beautiful thing is, when you reconnect with them, it often feels like no time has passed at all. So call them. Write. Catch up. Share your situation, and ask for their thoughts.
You might discover more than just solutions; you might rediscover comfort, warmth, and a sense of support so real that fear doesn’t stand a chance.
With love,
Jose.
